our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.
after the mass extinction marking the end of the cretaceous period--and the dinosaurs--mammals and birds start to take over the world. size becomes an aspect of the mammals, not only the birds, who are the descendants of the extinct reptiles who ruled the earth for millions of years.
south america has been isolated from most of the rest of the world. due to this isolation, strange creatures have evolved here. for doedicurus, a car-sized armadillo, life isn't too bad. their armor protects them from phorusrhacos, a meat-eating bird, and smilodon, a saber-toothed cat, as does their club-like tail-tip. but the world is changing, no matter how slowly, and it seems to be changing for the worse.

Hi! I found you guys when you affiliated with the site I mod for, Mushroom Grove. I always thought you had an interesting premise, and I finally got around to creating an account. I love the site design, and I hope I'll have fun here.
Thank you! Playing a prehistoric armadillo is surely a new experience for me, but maybe it'll help my writing muse to try something new.
Are we just waiting on people to join, or can we just craft characters now? I might tell some of my buddies about this place and see if they're keen, I think once enough people join it'll get pretty interesting. Or I could advertise on devART with some art, that usually works for me. xD
I've never played a glyptodont before! I'd like to see a sample profile from you or somebody first, so that I have some idea of what kind of a character to make -- if that is possible. In the meantime I suppose I shall do some research.
