the CLAN. A clan of Smilodon, the largest variety of saber-toothed cats, live here. Saber-toothed cats, even Smilodon, are no match for armored creatures such as Doedicurus, but they often infiltrate the land of the giant prehistoric armadillos. |

the TERROR. Phorusrhacos, South American flightless terror birds as tall as a fully-grown man of average height, wreak havoc on this part of the plain, though they usually keep away from the Smilodon-infested area. |
